I'm a young artist from France and art has been an important part of my life since forever.
I've always loved drawing but it has never been just a means of creating something nice. It has always been an expression of my thoughts, a way of exploring and experiencing the world around me, and a tool to make sense of the feelings I struggle to articulate.
From my childhood I was always interested in character design, animation, manga, video games and fictional worlds. I love drawing characters and telling stories, experimenting with different styles and creating art inspired by the things that make me feel something. My dream is to be able to work in animation and make it my profession someday.
My way to this goal wasn't an easy one.
I got a design and art education in school which includes STD2A and a whole year of studying of creation, culture and design. I managed to complete several internships in animation and video games that helped me to understand more clearly what I wanted to pursue.
However, during my education, my mental condition has been worsening. Ultimately, I found myself unable to complete my traditional educational journey. Also, during this time, my personal life changed greatly and my environment turned out to be an unstable one.
For some time, I had to concentrate more on finding my stability rather than studying.
At this point in time, I am trying to restore my life slowly but surely. I am looking for the opportunities to earn money, accept various commissions and small jobs to become financially independent and be able to have my own stable housing and continue studying. Thus, my aim is not only earning money through selling artworks. My goal is to create conditions when I will be able to have all the comfort and stability necessary for me to move forward.
That is why commissions are so important to me.
When someone accepts my services as an illustrator, you don't buy just a drawing. You become a helper to a young artist who wants to create her future based on something she loves doing. Every commissioned piece gets me closer to being able to pay for my tuition, living expenses, and ultimately the life I am building for myself.
I know that I have a long journey ahead of me. I know that I will be learning, experimenting, improving and discovering more and more every day. But I am happy that regardless of everything, I am creating.
And someday, I would like to look back on this chapter of my life knowing that I haven't stopped believing in myself.
So, if you have found yourself here, looking at my art or maybe even considering commissioning me, thank you. Even a little thing such as sharing my art, following me, or commissioning my work means the world to me.
I am working on building a future for myself, one drawing at a time.
Thank you for reading ☆
